My client is a global credit hedge fund looking to hire a Software Developer to focus on their liquid and illiquid credit business in New York.

This successful candidate willÂ be responsible for building solutions associated with the Loan, Long/Short Credit, and Credit investment strategies.Â They will be taking the leadÂ in multiple projects and willÂ workÂ directly with key business investment and technology stakeholders.

ResponsibilitiesÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â
• TakeÂ ownership of the lifecycle ofÂ objective critical applications, including business analysis, design and architecture, development and deployment • Manage relationshipsÂ and delivery of solutions to Portfolio Management, Operations, Compliance and Quantitative Risk • Collaborate withÂ internal software development team and application vendors to develop solutions and integrate vendor products to deliver enterprise-wide software solutionsÂ
• Architect and implement enhancements to data capture and processing infrastructure designed toÂ improve scalability and performanceÂ
• Develop trading and regulatory compliance and surveillance toolsÂ

Requirements
• Computer Science degree from a top-tier UniversityÂ
• 7 â 10 years of experience in the Investment management, public or private credit, alternative investment management • Business Analysis experience • Product knowledge of Bank Loans, bonds, credit derivatives, FX forwards • Experience with Polaris, Recon or SecMaster • Strong C# and .NET proficiencyÂ
• Excellent MS-SQL query composition skillsÂ
• Experience with with cloud-based technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure servicesÂ Â
